FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DOES AN IDEAL CANDIDATE LOOK LIKE?

If you’re looking for a great side-gig to earn some extra money, but you’ve never pictured yourself working for a cleaning company, then this is probably the job for you!

Our ideal candidate is a person of excellence in need of a way to supplement their current income. Typically, our team members are professional people who have a full-time day job and are looking to make some extra money on the side in the evenings and/or on the weekends to help pay off debt, save for a vacation, pay for their kid’s college, or fund a hobby.

DO I NEED PRIOR CLEANING EXPERIENCE?

Not at all. In fact, most of our current team members did not have prior cleaning experience before working with us. We provide you with paid training to equip you to do the job and do it well. We provide all cleaning supplies, and all supplies and equipment is kept on site. All you have to do is show up!

HOW LONG IS THE AVERAGE SHIFT LENGTH?

Our average cleaning shift is between 2 and 3 hours long. We have some that are shorter and some that are longer. We work with you to find shifts that match your availability and desired goals.

Most of our team members work 2 – 4 shifts each week. We typically start our new team members out at 6 – 10 hours worth of shifts per week until they get comfortable in their assigned accounts. We have team members who decide to stick with 6 – 10 hours and team members who decide to take on more.

HOW DOES SCHEDULING WORK?

You let us know what days you are consistently available to work each week and how many hours you would like to consistently work at the time of hire, and we assign you shifts on those days to match your availability and desired goals. Once assigned, you will typically clean the same shifts each week.

Your schedule will also be assigned to you through Swept, our mobile app that we use to track scheduling, cleaning times, and many other things. You can review your assigned shifts in Swept at any time.

For weeknights (Monday – Thursday), most of our shifts have to be completed between 6:00 pm and 11:30 pm each night. However, you typically have some flexibility within that time frame on when you can start your shift.

For weekends (Friday – Sunday), most of our shifts are able to be completed between 6:00 pm Friday evening and 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon (excluding anytime after midnight and before 7:00 am), allowing for a lot of flexibility on when to complete your weekend shifts.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SHFIT LOOK LIKE?

You show up to your assigned account for your assigned shift before 9:00 pm (3:00 pm Sundays on weekends) and sign in using Swept, our mobile app. You will clean the account following the designated checklist, then lock up and sign out of Swept. All of this happens during pre-scheduled time windows on a weekly basis and is planned based on your schedule. Most of our cleans happen after hours when the account is closed for business.

WHAT KIND OF ACCOUNTS DO YOU CLEAN AND WHAT KIND OF CLEANING DO YOU DO?

We are a commercial cleaning company that focuses on cleaning professional office spaces. We clean bank branches, medical offices, churches, and other professional spaces. We do not do clean any houses.

Basic team member cleaning responsibilities include dusting and wiping surfaces and furniture, cleaning bathrooms and break rooms, collecting and disposing of trash, vacuuming floors, and mopping floors. We provide you with the training and supplies needed to complete these tasks!

WHAT DOES TRAINING LOOK LIKE?

Our new team members typically go through 3 paid training sessions with us before being allowed to clean solo. Through these training sessions we teach you about our company culture, policies, and procedures, basic cleaning techniques, how to clean “the ACC Way,” and give you account specific training where your assigned shifts will occur.

WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT WILL I HAVE WHILE ON SHIFT?

We have a night operations team dedicated to ensuring that you are seen and heard. You will meet various members of our “Appreciation Team” along with our night managers who are consistently available to respond to messages and needs.

Our Appreciation Team reaches out to check in with you when you sign into your shifts and also sends you helpful reminders. Our night managers get you the supplies you need, offer helpful feedback and help you solve any issues that may arise.

Our vision is to make our team members feel appreciated!

HOW MUCH IS THE PAY?

We currently pay our team members $15.00 per hour as W2 employees. Your hours are tracked in Swept, our mobile app, and you are paid biweekly via direct deposit. We have also partnered with ADP to provide our team members with an online payroll portal where you can download your pay stubs and update your information at any time.

WHAT OTHER OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

We are a company that is continuously growing and reinventing ourselves. We have expanded beyond just the Athens Area to the greater Northeast Georgia area. We are always looking for and partnering with new businesses to take care of their cleaning needs. As a result, we now have team member opportunities from Barrow to Gwinnett to Habersham to Augusta.

We also have a phenomenal team of part-time Assistant Team Leaders who help with our night operations, who started out as team members and found themselves in pursuit of excellence at a higher level.
